I dunno, maybe it’s just me. It’s just these outfits just come off as blergh to me. I’m no fashion guru and I do apologize if I’m coming off as harsh. It just seems to me that the developers just decided to rush with character designs. I’m not saying their base templates look bad just their outfits.

For you. I thought it was a little excessive but there is a certain appeal to these outfits. I just wish they came into play earlier.

It could be more explicit as to what triggers it, but I’ve noticed two constants:  
-As shown in Rainbow Rocks, the magic comes out when the friends are unified, either when standing against a threat or playing music together  
-As shown in Friendship Games, the magic comes out when each girl shows off their best traits
 
And now they all have direct catalysts for their magic. Pretty neat, if you ask me.

It’s really starting to bug me that they are reworking their magic to be different in every movie.

It’s things like this that makes the show less watchable.
