Do you remember how, despise being MLP’s counterpart for Las Vegas, Las Pegasus resembles more an amusement park than a gambling paradise?
Considering the previous, I think this is in fact very symbolic of how people with a gambling addiction end up “trading” their loved ones for money or chances to play more (tickets).
Maybe the game is inside the machine, like the Jurassic Park or Star Trek games, but instead of a car it’s inside the end part of a McDonald’s Play Place.
Hang on, there was something more recent involving a car at Dave & Buster’s. Night… Something, lol. The arcade I go to has incredibly old games. ^w^
Ah, damn, now I remembered they got rid of the Normandy VR machine. I liked that one… Sorry, talking to myself. X3
Maybe some weird fortune-teller booth thing? You know, those booth things with the fortune-teller inside. Except instead of a card with some fortune on it, the booth spits out tickets so you can get that glow-in-the-dark spider ring.
I mean, this seems jarringly dark at first, but then you realize that Equestria does need to accommodate for the more… Eccentric Cutie Marks. Some mares (and stallions) literally need this.
I didn’t see the tickets dispensing until this picture. I thought it was just part of a playground-like area with the bubble windows like many McDonald’s have in their play places.
But the dispensing tickets and the realization that this is a machine, not a play area, is troubling.
