but it doesn’t tattoo well, so a lot of artists prefer to have ponies who have just… skin.
Equines don’t have fur, they have a coat, and it does actually look pretty skinlike from any distance because the hairs are so short.
or maybe she draws ponies with skin instead of fur.
I never noticed this until now. It looks like all of Imalou’s ponies have that look, but it’s only apparent here because Gabby is there. She may have gave Gabby more detail than Scootaloo because it’s more relevant to her furry interests (note the paw detail).
