Shining. “You tiptoe past the dragon. You barely manage to make it through a particularly large stack of coins.”
 
Spike: “I follow.”
 
Shining: “Roll.”
 
Spike: “14.”
 
Shining: “You lose your balance at one point, but you manage to make it to the other side.”
 
Discord: “I sprint over to the gem, grab it, then stomp on the dragon’s tail!”
 
Shining: [Flabbergasted] “What?”
 
Discord: “You heard me.”
 
Shining: [Rolling lots of dice, a grin starting to form on his face.] “Are you sure?”
 
Discord: “Yes, now let me get the gem and stomp on his tail!”
 
Shining: [snickering] “Roll initiative! Good luck!”

Shining: “The door to the dragon’s chamber is just up ahead. The voice of the dragon is slightly muffled. He’s talking to someone else, however, the door has no handle, nor a clear way to open it.”
 
Spike: “I inspect the room we’re in for traps.”
 
Shining: “Alright, roll perception.”
 
Spike: “12, with a +3 to perception, so… 15.”
 
Shining: “The door seems to be connected to… Something, but you’re not quite sure if it’s a trap or not. You do see a rope, though.”
 
Discord. “I roll to pull the rope!”
 
Shining: “Are you sure?”
 
[Everyone else at the table is making some form of ‘no’ sign.] Discord: “Yes!”
 
Shining: “Alright, the door swings open with a click. The dragon doesn’t seem to notice. You see a large gem at the back. At the other end of the room is the mare you’re contracted to save.”
 
Mac: “Alright, I attempt to sneak around the dragon, and hide behind a pillar.”

I expected more out of it honestly. I expected the Mane 6 to join in and get in more action, I wanted more references, and the aesop was unclear to me. Maybe I’m just dumb.

The episode was still good but not as good than last week 3/5
