What? They set the precedent for what the changelings were during the wedding episode. Tricksters that relied on kidnapping and deceit to steal love as a food source. It's not like what has been suggested goes off the rails.

Just so you know I'm not trying to argue one way or the other being better. You're free to prefer it the way it turned out. I don't see anything "wrong" with either way. I just don't prefer the change.
