She became the mane character. Not initially. At the same time, she’s not really the mane character. No one is, I believe. I believe it’s the sum of each of the central characters, even Spike. In a way, whomever is in the opening credits of every film. It’s like Final Fantasy VI, when Sakaguchi said he believes Tina Bradford isn’t the main character, but that every player character has importance to the story, which is the ulterior reason players can control multiple characters without Tina present some of the time, especially the beginning of the World of Ruin segment when the player controls Celes and doesn’t reunite with Tina until much later.

I can see that, with the Star Trek movies. Hoping that they’ll have a fifth EQG before the main-show movie in 2017.

i like equestria girls, just stating a fact, sunset is not and has never been, the main character.

Sunset isnt even close to the main character of equestria girls, there have been three movies, two of them focused on pony twilight with sunsed as a sidestory, get over it.
I mean, I get the first one, she was the villain, but the second one she had so much focus on her, and the third one she was the Humane 6 leader, for crying out loud!
Sigh….I want more Sunset appreciation…
I think Sci Twi is more cute than normal Twilight.
I agree, as I feel that Scitwi, like the original Twilight, works much better as a supporting character than a focus/main character. Sunset however does very well in both roles, and as long as Scitwi isn’t the focus of LoE, then it should work out alright IMO.
Can’t blame you for thinking that. It’s going to take some time for everyone else to get used to the movie design. How’d you think we came to like Equestria Girls in general?
