Well I'm a ponyfan (since G1), and I for one find the G3 designs cute (and fairly reminiscent of G1 actually).

The G3.5 designs are pretty cute too imho, but I think maybe they went a tad too far in trying to make them as cute as possible, to the point that some people just hate them instead. xD

Equus Caballus? I'm pretty sure it's more like Equus Animus.

The 'horrendus' always made me unable to enjoy this image as the rest of it is quite respectful and faithful to the history.
Oh well, it's too bad.

I like how each stage is based on the art style of each generation with Gen 3 being "Horrendus" lol
