In a way, her design almost feels more real than other characters. The whole show has sort of a soft, yet bright pastel theme going on, and Sunset’s colours are kind of a stark contrast from that. The only other character whose design has a sense of verisimilitude, especially in EqG, would be Applejack.

Hehe. Every time I think of transcendentalists I always remember what my English teacher said about them and Poe. He basically told us that Poe hated them because they wouldn’t let him join their club for being a drunk.

I’d give it to Hemingway as well, though perhaps with a grain of salt. He was more reserved in that way than transcendentalists like Thoreau and Emerson.

Actually, hippies and hipsters hijack a lot of bohemian-like things and have gained an association with it. A good example of a real bohemian is Sherlock Holmes, whole lived and enjoyed a strange lifestyle and has actually been referred to as a proper bohemian.
