Ah, but betrayal is a palpable emotion, is it not? Besides, I could imagine the old Starlight pulling such a trick, making it seem like Trixie was trying to work against Twilight in order to mask her own deception, but beginning to regret her actions after Trixie asks if they were ever really friends.
But wouldnβt that make No Second Prances completely irrelevant? Starlight would be doing the exact same thing she accused Trixie of but on a much bigger and much meaner scale. Besides, Iβd rather not see Trixieβs reaction when she finds out that sheβs been lied to by her best friendβ¦
