It swallowed her and I doubt Manticores have crops she definitely went into the stomach but stomach acid isn’t as strong as people like to imply a living creature can survive for at least a few minutes and that’s more from suffocating than the acid itself so she could have escaped with Starlights help which she did.
The burns were from being shot out of a cannon not from stomach acid. She didn’t go anywhere near its stomach. If it had swallowed her she wouldn’t have been able to get out. At least not until she was digested. Besides-it was working with her. It even took a bow.

True. I didn’t mean to paint a picture of terrible burning, just mild burning, but it may even burn less than that.
Then again, have you ever sat in a tub of it? A bit different from just having it pass through your oral cavity.
It still probably wouldn’t be any significant burn, though, in any case, so you’re right to mention that.
I’m just happy / impressed that Starlight could teleport her and not the acid/juices :p

Stomach acid doesn’t burn that bad. If it did, I would kill myself every time I puke.
Lost her one and only friend, pulled a suicidal stunt, got swallowed whole by a manticore so that she was somewhere hot, burning, and in complete darkness, only to re-appear out here when she thought she was going to die.
So, she hasn’t been digested much, just a second or two, but it’s still a pretty leave-you-shaking experience.
