Kelpies were in the comic.
Comic.
Oh so you don’t understand the characters. Thanks for the answer.
Also i think you just don’t understand Angel’s character.
And what don’t I understand about it?
Let me guess, you hated Diamond Tiara before and now you like her. You hated Sunset and now you like her. When you can’t see deep into characters you can’t like them.
Nope, I still don’t like Diamond Tiara. She has almost no character to her beyond “antagonist” and “redemption token”, and her presence in an episode has almost always been relative to the Cutie Mark Crusaders, whose episodes I never care much for. (Though they’re delightful when the CMC plots don’t come up)
Likewise, Sunset Shimmer’s turnaround was too sudden and dramatic for me to judge her pre- and post-redemption as the same character. Villain Sunset Shimmer was a potentially quite interesting but ultimately undeveloped character. Hero Sunset Shimmer is a more interesting but still poorly developed character.
In either case, she suffers the unfortunate fact that I simply don’t enjoy the plots or writing in any of the movies she takes place in, which are so bizarre and forced that I can’t really think much about Sunset Shimmer without running into too much question about the setting to get anywhere.
And, quite frankly, I don’t expect any non-main character in the series to have much depth because the show simply doesn’t seem interested in the subject - most characters are simply there to fulfill a plot role, possibly provide some humor, and that is all they are written to reflect - there is little depth in the writing of most characters, and the writing is not conducive to making any speculation about them that is both consistent with and well-evidenced by their writing.
Well technically i did say the same thing as you but you didn’t say it like that. Also i think you just don’t understand Angel’s character. Let me guess, you hated Diamond Tiara before and now you like her. You hated Sunset and now you like her. When you can’t see deep into characters you can’t like them.
In what sense is Angel kind?
He’s had a couple moments of not being a complete jerk, but that’s like saying that Twilight’s an unorganized, messy slob because of the ketchup on her face that one time.
only owlouiscious and tank represents fully their owner’s element
Well, that’s pretty much what I just said.
I have no idea what are you talking about. :D
Besides the Kelpie thing. :3
Actually i think Angel is kind, but not straight kind like Fluttershy. Also if we talk about other pets, only owlouiscious and tank represents fully their owner’s element. Gummy maybe likes to party, but he’s more of a lonely, philosopher type and yeah winona is pretty like Applejack. I actually think series with characters with their personalities would be interesting.
Edited
Owlowiscious and Tank were only added to the cast later in the series.
Tank is loyal and Owlowiscious is an all-around friend.
Gummy’s extremely stoic, Opal’s probably at least a little selfish, Bunny sure as hell ain’t kind, and Winona’s not really dishonest but we haven’t seen anything particularly honest, either.
Huh.
