in the past, an announcement like this probably would’ve made me go “eh, alright, knock on wood”. but i gotta say, this episode was a VERY pleasant surprise! in my opinion, season six has been good so far but for a while i wasn’t really feeling wowed by any of the episodes. it was more of an “ah, hmm that was enjoyable, yes” kind of reaction, which is fine, but not a lot to leave a strong impression. this episode was the first of the season that i thought really kicked ass — and it’s a spike episode to boot! i’m no spike hater by any means but it seems his episodes tend to strike out more often than they hit homers… but this may very well be the best spike episode of the whole series! if more spike episodes means more great episodes like this one then i’m all for it!

I dont ask for people to shiver in anticipation at every episode,just to not be such a doomsayer Nostradamus.I entirely disagree with that “keep your expectations low” bullshit,i’d rather go in a episode with a “show me what you got” attitude rather than a “it’s gonna suck” scowl on my face every damn time
Ok, if the following episodes that Jim mentioned have the same quality as this or even more, is quite appreciate.
And, really, the episode has more than half a day and already there is drama, well, it does not surprise me much.

I’ve not once tried to claim my opinions on the episode are fact. I’m just stating my opinions. I said the episode was boring. I didn’t say others were objectively wrong for disagreeing with me. If they liked the episode, good for them. I just didn’t.
