It’s not a sin for cartoons to be cartoony and exaggerate things, in fact, it is one of the main principles of animation. There is a time and place for subtlety, especially for things like despair or growing horror; this is not the kind of sexual position that lends itself to small nuances, the best thing is to really push the expressions and reactions involved.

This is just the best!

Ok guys this whole discussion seems more subjective than anything else.  
We intentionally made Twilight look more pleased than pressured; yes it’s unrealistic but we purposely did it, because more people seem to be more aroused by that.

Yes that is how it is for the most realism possible in a human relationship. However, that doesn’t mean it is impossible for people to have sex while not moving very much. And besides, this is most likely what the creator felt was hot.

Yup. Twilight slightly squishes like an accordion while Celestia nails her which is humorous but not really convincing.
 

 
But while we’re on the topic it is true that the characters aren’t really convincing as either humans or horses having sex. Eevee may think that actually expressing something is “fake” but (s)he’s most likely thinking of commercial porn which is unabashedly fake from start to finish without accounting for the actors’ atrocious performances. Porn is baffling in that people pay for worse quality content than what’s available for free.
 
All the same, there’s nothing “subtle” about lustful animals of either species boning. Sexuality is not nuanced or subtle. It is the most primal and animalistic trait most living things share. Twilight’s reaction is consistent with a woman half-heartedly pretending to be interested while her husband completely fails to please her – which is obviously not intentional since she still shows tics and the full .webm does show her reacting more extremely at the instant of penetration.
 
The standard sexual response of all sexually producing animals includes rapid breathing / panting and involuntary twitches and vocalizations, especially nearing / reaching orgasm of any memorable quality. The characters don’t really show this, and on this line my original suggestion was to at least make Celestia shakier and less “smooth” in her thrusts as she was about to blow.

She is propped up on books, and the angle she is being fucked at is pushing her into the ground. What ‘laws of motion’ are you referring to here? The laws of going through the floor? She is already being pushed slightly with each thrust, if you look, what more do you wants? Celestia pushing her all the way across the floor with each thrust, as if Twilight is a stroller?

Why would she need to move? Heck, the way she sits still and only makes a subtle facial changes after each plow is sexy beyond all belief. A tail flick or pushing back a tiny bit could have improved it, but the small leg twitch makes up for that. Contrast is key in my opinion, and if she moved around a whole lot or had a huge grin and gasped, well, that would kind of make her subtle showings of pleasure not as good. Like I said, contrast. Regardless of the fact if the creator did it to make it easier on themselves is irrelevant, the fact is hot is what matters. But again, I may be biased because people who gasp and make loud noises or move a whole lot, exaggerating their pleasure, turns me off.

Lack of expression? Compared to other source filmmaker animations the expressions on her face are perfect. The subtle twitches in Twilight’s face after each thrust is really hot, not to mention the leg twitch. I honestly wish the scene with her face went on longer. And this is coming from someone who finds almost every other sfm porn scene ugly. I might be biased, though, since I love subtle face twitches. Anything too expressive feels fake and forced.
