I mentioned before that Spike was replaced by his female counterpart in the Duskverse. So, here’s Barbara in all her cutesy girly glory. Her story is more or less like Spike’s. She was hatched by Dusk as part of his entrance exam for Princess Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns, she left to join the Dragon Migration to find her roots and had a run in with the teenage dragons, and has a huge crush one of the Main Six.

Here’s where Barbara’s story becomes a bit more unique. The pony she’s crushing on is Double Diamond. If I went by Element of Harmony, her crush would’ve been Sunset. Instead, I went by which stallion would impress her more from a physical point of view. Dubz won hooves down since working on the farm made him a bit stronger and more well-built when compared to other stallions (minus Big McIntosh). When she met the teenage dragons, she hung out with the dragonesses rather than the drakes. She overheard Garble and his friends talk about raiding a nearby phoenix nest for the eggs and went to stop them. The teen dragonesses help Dusk, Dubz, and Rainbow find Barbara before she got hurt and help them return to Ponyville with Peewee’s egg in tow.

Everything else pretty much plays out the same way things play out in the show for Spike.
