You guys are literally comparing a character who was brought in as a new main character as a dying through to someone who is going to be a new secondary character and used for some plot convenience. If this new Alicorn was added into the Mane 6 and was in every episode, yes, there’s a problem. But were probably only gonna see her a few times this season. I bet Snips and Snails will have more screen time than her this season.

You mean introducing a minor character? I mean, Starlight being reformed was much more worthy of panic. But this little foal comes in and everyone just thinks the show is gonna be shaped around it. Ya’ll need to get a hold of yourselves. How many “End of the Fandom” scenarios are we gonna have to witness?

Agreed. The more recent Nickolodeon stuff I just can’t enjoy. Meanwhile, I really liked Season 5 of MLP.

I know alot of people are comparing these two, but the episode isnt even out yet, and MLP episodes havent even gotten in the ballpark of that bad yet.

I never watch FOP so I don’t even know what this episode is, but I’m guessing the MLP opener, being a two parter, is going to have PFH get kidnapped by a Really Bad Dude (maybe Sombor’s back!) or blowing stuff up or something.
 
Also I hope this opens a /can of worms/ on Celestia and MoonDavis’ childhoodz.

I never got the chance to see Fairly Odd Baby but just from instinct, I really don’t want MLP to suffer the same fate as FOP. (Though I would love it if MLP:FiM did became one of the longest running kids shows as long as the quality remains in check.)  
I would hate to see another brony quit the show.
