Now, I think we should hold off on making an invitation post until after we’ve got a server. Or were we thinking more along the lines of finding someone who knows about servers and how to run them?

Yeah, it is. But that, surprisingly, is too much for me at the current time.

Also, about running a server. I think derpibooru has had mirror downloads for a game in the past.
 
But that might be a secret the admins keep in IRC. If so, I may be sent to the moon for telling you all that.

I don’t think knowing minecraft stuff is requirred for this, but whatever. How do you think I should format the meta? I have no idea what I should put into it. Somehthing like: “I think derpibooru should have a minecraft server for regulars”. I’m not much with words. Give me a good header and I can make up the rest of the post.

When I checked the website it was like 38 dollars or something.
 
So yeah, not very cheap. But I could get it at that price sometime in the future.
 
 
Although, I haven’t dabbled in creative hardly at all, so I usually do survival.
 
And I don’t know how to do mods very well, only have texture packs ATM.

I think I’ll try running the demo to see if I can actually run it. I’ve really only been assuming at this point.

About the meta thing? Eh, maybe you should do it. You’ve got more knowledge about minecraft stuff than I do so.

Would we need to buy a server? Or just rent server space? I have no idea.

You wanna make it Yorec or should I do it?

Maybe some of us should do research on how to make a server. Also things like how to back up the map should it ever be deleted/griefed with, banning and stuff like that.
