Another case of crossing the time streams. This time with one world where Twilight accidentally turned herself into slime, and another where she and her friends were all born as Alp-Luachra.
 
“Slimelight” Sparkle was born when Twilight was researching cephalopods one day. She made the odd leap of logic that she could get more extensive data quicker if she simply became one herself. Unfourtunately, this came at a time when Twilight was inexperienced with the transformation spell… and this happened instead. To her horror, her new, gooey form was resistant to all magic including her own, meaning she couldn’t be turned back, and she couldn’t cast anything other than the most basic of magics. Eventually however, she accepted her new life and began to find the interesting advantages her form offered, such as the fact that she could “freeze” her whole body into a solid crystal pony-like form during Winter.
 
As for Alp-Light, she is a shining figure of leadership for the Alps of Saddle Lake. Within the Elements of Hope, she represents Unity; strength in numbers, and of family bonds. Alongside her friends with their powers, she has protected Saddle Lake from all manner of potential disasters, such as when Black Snooty shrouded the entire lake in a veil of impenetrable ink. Alp-Light is realistically anxious, as many Alps should be, about the dangers of the surface world. She, however, is not ignorant, and makes her decisions with the safety of the entire lake in mind.
