Ah, yes, that can be problematic. When I used to live in a toilet called “Downriver Detroit,” an entire neighborhood near mine had mouse-related problems. They’d chew everything from siding on your house to wiring harnesses in your vehicle. I think the problem stemmed from the nearby “woods,” which was actually an overgrown/abandoned house and property, and the fact no one used garbage cans – they’d just sit their trash bags by the end of the driveway for collection. Classy place, let me tell you….

My apologies/pity to anyone reading this and still living in that area. I have no idea whether it’s still like that; this was in the late-1990s.

I live in the middle of nowhere so I shoot what I want when I want. XP

Yeah spiders are pretty chill so long as you don’t hit them or something same with snakes I’ve had a couple for pets.

Once you’ve gutted a pig or a dear and shoveled dead animals out of a barn it becomes second nature dealing with that sort of stuff.

Nah, that’s not what I do. I don’t even own any kind of private property… Which sucks, because I’d love to own a small shack in Nevada.

Anyways, I used to have a rat problem. My mom even found a dead rat in the gutter. She got queasy over it, and got even more queasy see me taking care of the rat with no problem. The amount of slasher films I watch really helps me to get through messy stuff like that.

Also: I let spiders stay, as long as they’re not in the way. Because of this, the summer flies never really bother me over here in California.

Also also: Black widows are so passive that you could hold one without it biting you, or even thinking of biting you… But if you are bitten, then Godspeed you unlucky SOB.

I know right? They make cute pets, and they’re super easy to care for.

I named the one I occasionally see scurrying across the floor at my parents’ house “George”. My mom would probably kill me if she knew I left little bits of food for him around when I visit. :3

I usually just let them roam in the house they disappear after a couple of days, the mice however are a different story. >___>

Not sure if recluse spiders count as “deadly” but the bites sure are nasty. We get them in our house from time to time but I just scoop them up in a container and put them out. They are usually pretty harmless and normally can’t even open their jaws wide enough for a “proper bite” unless you crush them or something as they crawl on you thus inadvertently driving thier fangs into yourself.

Dude, there are only two deadly spiders in America. And they’re both very hard to find. And the more common of the two, the Black Widow, is passive.
