Oh, good point. Although I don’t see who could have the power to send them back in time in the FoE timeline… A repurposed megaspell maybe? An alicorn abomination? Maybe the one with Twilight inside, thus explaining how they could have known about the time loop?

I’ll just ignore the fact that by the rules of the time loop they can’t go into the future more than a couple of decades, cause it’s a really cool idea. Maybe since Starlight came along they could have jumped way ahead.
