But yeah… good point. Maybe not “hearwarming”, but the kind of attitude Limestone is known for is more natural and familiar on her. She does exude an odd kind of charm for that very reason!

Or, like I said, the Boulder sits out in the front of the house, just a few steps from the front door, and Pinkie’s flashback didn’t happen anywhere close to the front door. Unlike Shining Armor, there wasn’t much of a need to bring it up beforehand because A.) We didn’t really delve too deeply into Pinkie’s family life and whatnot past the flashback and it really only applies to that family, and B.) It didn’t seem particularly important to any of the Pie family sans Limestone and possibly her parents. Certainly not to Pinkie, who seemed outright irritated at having to explain what it was to AJ’s family moreso than anything.

It’s this giant, egg shaped rock on the Rock Farm that’s a big deal to the Pie family heritage and whatnot, and Lime is particularly over-protective of it.
