Because Skyla is the daughter of Cadence and Shining Armor aka forgettable characters or characters we honestly don’t care for.
 
The wedding episode? The only thing we cared about was the changeling invasion. Take away Queen Chrysalis and that scene and what do you have? A boring season 2 finale that has been commercialiazed non stop.
 
Return of the Crystal Empire? We focus more on Twilight Sparkle, her test and her friends trying to entertain the Crystal Ponies while King Sombra is trying to break into the kingdom. Shining Armor and Princess Cadence were not really focus much on this episode, and this is their new home for crying out loud.
 
Equestria Games? Same thing above but replace it with Spike and King Sombra taking over the kingdom with…uh…ice block finale?
 
Hearing the news that Cadence and Shining Armor having a baby was not only a thing that we saw coming 10 miles away, but its going to be forgotten as well. After all, we may have one more season left before the movie, and when that happens MLP FIM could be finished, but that’s my assumption so don’t take it as a fact.
 
Skyla is just going to be a character that’s going to be like mother like daughter. Forgotten, unimportant, and all perfect.
 
Come to think of it, I’m surprised bronies haven’t called Cadence a Mary Sue character. Twilight has been called that sure, but for Cadence? It’s literally written all over her body.

Why nopony likes Skyla? Is almost a fact she’s gonna be canon….Remember the Twilight Castle Play Set? It became Twilight’s Palace. Remember the Super Pony Set? Power Ponies. Remember Winged Princess Twilight? Alicorn Twilight. Sometimes the toys hint something that will happen in the show, sometimes is the other way around. But I predict a %90 of probability that an pink alicorn filly with Magenta and blue mane will born around sixth season…or probably by the end of this one, though I doubt it with so short time left (only four episodes left).

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll make sure that my division of Bat Ponies watch the area next time. And don’t try to bring your minigun, my bats are trained in Echolocation and bullets evasion, so even if you can fire 400,000 dollars worth in cartdriges, they know what to do. If I were you I’d start working better on that fly animation

I admit, I don’t know how I got in there. Everything’s fuzzy after that 57th cider from Big Mac’s private stock. Woke up in the Crystal Empire and there they were!
 
The greater question is: how bad is their eyesight to have missed me? I hope the child has better peepers!

I wish Sliver Quill didn’t feel the need to fit in so many jokes into his reviews. His segments are entertaining enough without breaking the train of thought for a cut away joke or forcing unnecessary fandom guest.

“The Journal of the Two Sisters” book (which as far as we know is canon) pretty much confirmed Luna and Celestia were born as alicorns, complete with different biologies from other ponies, like having naturally long lives (though their lifespans specifically ended up being further enhanced by the sun and moon), and not getting cutie marks until a good deal later than other ponies.

Cadance & Twilight were the only ones said to of become ones. (Or at least, Cadance was in a story book that may/may not be canon. Though, she was shown as an alicorn when she was young.)
