Well lets face it, if Nia Jax wanted to legitimize her reign, challenging Ronda Rousey is one way to do it. I like it when babyface champions challenge proven tough guys who aren’t anywhere near a title opportunity, it’s exactly the kind of proactive badassery I respect.
 
…and hell, Ronda put on the single best match of Wrestlemania, with two pensioners and a non-wrestler pensioner. She deserves a push.

Mass Transit’s death was also nothing to do with wrestling. (honest it looks like his real problem was ‘holy shit, does this guy even know what platelets are?’)
 
Quite a few of these are the same really. Wrestlers travel a lot so I’m not surprised how many crash victims there are, but I wouldn’t call wrestling directly responsible as such.

I feel so sorry for Ronda if she wins the title, expecting fan backlash just as worse as by the likes of Goldberg.

That Sami/Bobby Lashley segment was the worst WWE segment so far of 2018.

Meanwhile, SD is killing it

I just read this story online about Meng (in the middle of a discussion on how realistic/unrealistic the physical feats of heroic fantasy heroes were). I recall some people here seem to know quite a bit about him. Do they know if this story about Meng is actually true or not?
 
Ha, the Sonny Liston story reminds me of a story about Meng, the professional wrestler, reputed to be one of the most legit tough guys in the business. He was drinking at a bar in, I think Baltimore, when some drunken idiot decided to challenge the “fake fighter”. Apparently when the cops showed up to deal with a huge brawl at the bar, they found Meng sitting alone quietly drinking his beer with about 25 wrecked guys draped all over the place. Meng just quietly surrendered and spent the night in jail and then went on his way.

Ted DiBiase was apparently in the same bar as him, and I think he said that Meng was fighting about 25 police officers, and kept breaking his handcuffs.

like Kevin Nash was destroyed by his own son yet he was hyped as a tough guy by most WCW guys
 
but Meng is likely really tough especially as he grew up as a child soldier

the guy was all about respecting the business yet loves Hogan, the same Hogan who did stuff that would have gotten him killed if he wasn’t such a draw

I’ve heard this too. It’s the stuff he does when PO’ed that makes me wonder if Meng is some kind of superman.

Nothing is official as of yet, but there’s a 70% chance I’m going to attend WrestleMania for the first time next time.

Good luck surviving 8 hours

I can’t tell if that Nia/Ronda segment was good or bad. I liked Nia not being scared of Ronda and her showing her dominance, but her promo ranged from okay to awful. At points Nia’s promo was good, like when she laughed in Ronda’s face, but at other points her acting was so terrible.
