Yes, with decent gear. Like nornal Nighthold gear. I’m 882, I managed it with 870. Some fights require a bit of tactics. Highmaul is also doable. The only boss that’s a trouble is Butcher but as long as you can for him fast enough gushing wounds won’t be too difficult to manage. I’ve heard Hellfire Citadel is doable up to gorefiend.

A few things I believe in:
 
With normal raiding and flex making things apparently quite easy to do (relatively speaking) I think LFR should go away or be a tier/raid behind (ie Trial of Valor would be out now, or Nighthold LFR since technically the patch for Tomb dropped even if the raid is not yet available)
 
I say this as an ex-raider who depends on LFR. I do think it has been bad for the playerbase in the ways Preach Gaming describes.
 
LFD however is fine. Because dungeons are not premier content and never were.
 
However, for levelling I do think it should be tinkered with so people get out into the world and see the context for these dungeons: like having to discover the dungeon entrance or maybe even needing to be in the zone to queue for it.
 
The reward for max level being that these restrictions go away. Or maybe as a reward for queuing so many times you become a ‘qualified dungeoneer’ which lets you queue like now.
 
Or maybe just the whole thing into the premade system
 
And restrict the premade system to servers so server community comes back. Maybe even the LFD system too

Please god no. As also someone who raids with an actual guild group and runs dungeons and everything and literally went from 15 to 70 doing nothing but healing dungeons back in TBC when everything was server-based and there was no LFD. Fuck that. Boo hoo, some people won’t understand the lore when they jump into a dungeon. More than worth it to make it quick and easy to do group content.

Meh, alts can be exempt since achievements are now accountwide.
 
The thing is: I know new players who complained they didnt seem to be immersed die to all the automated systems and quit.
 
The rise in subs we see is a lot of people coming back rather than new people coming in

Unsure about Death’S Embrace being a PVE talent. I have misgivings about execute phase mechanics as they seem to be a balancing issue. Mostly because Blizzard has to make assumptions about fights to properly balance them which can go awry. I’d rather just be at full power constantly in PVE.
 
However, it being an option in talent builds does make this less of an issue. It used to be baked in and therefore required Blizzard balancing all Affliction damage around its guaranteed inclusion, whereas now it should just be balanced around the other choices.

I am sick of these world quests. I’m so close to exalted I’m not even gonna bother doing anything except ones that give AP.

Apparently, you no longer need to be exalted with Armies of Legionfall for your class mount.
 
I feel mixed. It’s a nice reward to work for on your main, but it’s a huge pain in the ass to grind for on one’s alts.
 
That said, I’m probably going to get exalted anyway. This is honestly the first expansion since WotLK that I’ve hit exalted with any of the expansion’s reputations. I think other expacs I’d just burn out and stop playing for a 1+ year at a time. This is also the longest I’ve stayed subbed to the game.

So I’m grinding to exalted for nothing now?! I only need like 1500 rep! Gdi Blizzard…

Gotta make sure I’m doing Azsuna when leveling up my characters in the future. Hit 110 on my DH and got the light’s heart quest and went “well fuck now I have to do an entire additional zone on this character.”

I didn’t bother with the Light’s Heart line after the whole “gather a fuck ton of essence that drops when it feels like it” part.

I think they improved that, last several times I did a heroic dungeon I had one drop every time. And the requirement seems to be 40 instead of 100.

Still just another example of Legion’s go-to thing, The Time Grind ^TM.
 
That quest should have been one of the first Order Hall quests that you got, allowing you to build up essence as you played instead of slamming it toward the end and being like “here, do all this dungeons again a bunch of times to unlock story”.
 
I refused to do the quest out of principle, and I’ll continue to not do the quest even if they reduce the requirement to one essence, and accepting the quest gave you that one essence.

I didn’t know Blizzard hired Keiji onto the staff. Then again, it would explain some of the decisions they’ve made recently.

I think I just saw the dumbest post in the history of WoW’s forums.
 
Someone suggested that in order to make the Legion seem threatening, have Blizzard delete some peoples toons and blame it on the Legion.

The Orphan quests are strange. I love the fact that in the Caverns of Time it’s implied your orphan is basically the next fantasy Hitler.
