Ah, that boss.  
A few WoD bosses are soloable, they’re somewhat tricky and take a bit to down, but doable. All of Highmaul is doable with the right class.  
Butcher might give you a problem with gushing wounds if you have a slow dps class, like Ret.

I know 0% about WoD raids, I quit well before then. I barely know anything about MoP raids either.

MoP and especially WoD have bosses with way more complex mechanics than previous expansions, or more mechanics per boss.

I enjoyed most of the boss fights. Nothing will top Karazhan back in TBC for me though, because that was my first and it was amazing. I really wish Chess could be skipped with a boss fight of some kind, though, because even with similar scaling mechanics changes it’s a pain in the ass to solo; Its funny, it was the easiest encounter when it was fresh content but it’s the hardest part by a mile to solo.

After Tomb of Sargeras, and defeating Kil’jaden, Ion said in 7.3 we will likely be going to Argus to fight Sargeras head on and really hurt the Legion.

Hm, where do we go from here then? The Legion has been the main antagonizing force throughout Warcraft. Almost every major shift and disaster has had Legion finger prints on it.
 
I suppose the void is next. We’ve got one more old god kicking about, and of course their Void Lord creators.

Void lords would be next.  
Perhaps we defeat Sargeras and convince him and the Legion to aid us, as well as finishing off the old gods?

Also, it’d make sense to go to Argus, as old Velen said in the Exodar Scenario about firing it up and to stop running for once.

I think we might convince individual elements of the Legion to help. Lore states they’re all mana addicts chained to fel-magic, either from being basically made of magic like a pure demon or actually infused with it like the corrupted races, and one of the central elements of the Suramar story is freeing people from magic addiction.
 
Also that Dreadlord from the pally story shows that demons can get their jollys from other forms of magic.

Yea. He’ll play a big role in 7.3 if we’re going to Argus, since he’s affiliated with the Army of Light.

Finally continuing in the Illidan quest line and I’m at the “lingering soul fragments” bit. Only drops from end bosses and has a cap of 10 per week. 8 weeks to grind the fuckers. Are you fucking kidding me? What lobotomized fuckwit at Blizz came up with that idea?

Oh, question btw. How difficult is Archway and Court of Stars on normal Mythic? I haven’t done any mythics yet and I want to do those to finish the Sumurmar line. My ilvl is 853.

Yeah, lots of grinding for items, in the raids, and the weekly lockout made it agonizing.  
Also, not sure. I’ve not done Arcway or Court of Stars yet, still need to for a few Nightfallen story quests.  
I’d imagine 853 is more than enough, as they drop 840 gear.  
Tho, you could expect some pugs to ask for higher for a smooth experience.

Most of the groups I see on the list are “first timers” looking for a good time. I’d refuse to group with any mook that’s looking for like Heroic Raid ilvl for mythics just so they don’t have to try as hard.

Hunter, marks spec. I roll Lone Wolf in groups though so wouldn’t have my pet.

Not sure how well Hunters are fairing dps wise, but most of the pugs I’ve seen ask for 850.  
And normal mythic isn’t bad, it’s Mythic + that takes coordinated groups.

Mythic Arc seems fairly simple. Just read a guide. It’s a very movement heavy instance. Every boss has some sort of ability that requires quick movement, or specific movements. Like the 3rd boss makes a triangle of magic beams between 3 members of the party, and they have to run toward each other while moving to the edges of the arena. At the end of the cast the space between them becomes a death trap that deals shit tons of damage, so you have to make the area as small as possible.
 
 
Seems mobility and movement is the theme of this x-pac.

Wait, what? I thought they were revamping all of marks to be purely lone wolf petless style. One of the reasons why I never jumped back in, wasn’t looking forwards to having to change my soloing spec to beast master or something.
