World of Warcraft General

So three mythic dungeons require actual attunements this xpac. For the first time since TBC. Arcway, Court of Stars, and Return to Karazhan. I wonder if Blizzard will add more attunements back in later expansions. I don’t mind as long as they aren’t as bad as they were in Vanilla and TBC.

I remember when you needed to get keys for dungeons; not to actually enter them, just to open the door to them, but you had to earn them/get them from earlier dungeons. Except I mained a rogue back in the days when you had to actually level up your lockpicking like a profession, and I was diligent about doing it, so I could just break my way in.

Just finished the first part of the Nightfallen storyline. Now I get to do withered army training, as well as finish the rest of the Suramar storyline. I am loving this expansion.

Warlocks should honestly be unsubscribing from WoW right now.

Have you thought of maining a different class? Blizzard clearly doesn’t care about certain classes so if you want to stick to the game, there are other viable options. Shamans are fun and their output is decent.

Finally got a bloody world boss drop! Titanforged no less.

I haven’t even finished my order hall quest lol. Been focused on real life stuff over the past 2 weeks, haven’t had time for much.

I’ve been doing loads of emissaries I mean, and they can drop legendary gear, but no luck.  
Also been doing Suramar and reached revered with each faction.

Hunters have been treated fairly nicely this go-round. Sidewinders made the Marks rotation a little dull, but other than that we’re good. My other main right now is my Unholy Dk, and my god the AoE is amazing.

Agreed, Marksman is fun. Can’t say the same for BM or Survival, though.  
Paladins are kinda eh, but they perform good at least. Enhancement is my favorite spec this expansion, though. Perform decent, but kinda squishy.

Survival is fun from a mechanical standpoint, but it’s not very effective in most situations. Haven’t played a Shammy yet this x-pac, trying to level a shadow priest on the side right now.

Shamans as a whole are incredibly fun this xpac.

Some WoD raid bosses are soloable. Ilvl 847.  
Highmaul: Kargath Bladefist, Butcher is doable if you can burn him fast enough before 6 stacks of gushing wounds, Brackenspore is stupidly easy, The rest I have not tested, though.  
Blackrock Foundry: Oregorger, took me a couple tries but doable, Grull, Blast furnace is doable if you get rid of the adds when you fight the final phase, Beastlord Darmac is doable as long as you stay away from the spikes. Operator Thogar might be doable, took too much damage though. The rest I have not tested yet because I could not.  
Hellfire Citadel I have not tried yet.

I enjoy that fight but I always had to call out the incoming trains over vent for my guild so it’s kind of exasperating.

Yeah, I had that problem, too.  
Also, if you have a hunter or Demon Hunter with at least 850 gear, Highmaul is 100% doable on normal, even Ko-ragh and Imperator Mar’gok are cakewalks. I soloed them with my paladin, and well, ret is pretty damn slow and I can’t outheal the damage on add heavy or mechanic specific bosses.

Also, goddamn haste is hard to stack, it would make playing my pally at least somewhat better. When I finish Suramar I’m gonna finish leveling my Shaman and Demon Hunter.

Man. I want to get back into WoW, but I refuse to let the time vampire get its fangs back into me just yet. Especially since if I do get back into it, I get to find out what happened with my guild. Are they still raiding? Are they upset with me for getting bored of the game and not coming back after our vacation like I said was likely going to be the case? Did our GM succumb to emphysema, since when I left she was already at the point where she barely had the energy to raid? Has the guild disbanded? etc.

Bout dem legendaries though. Got my first one, the Marks Hunter ring that grants bonus movement speed when landing a loss of control effect (I’m guessing bursting shot). These past few days have been most profitable. I have pleased Nuffle.
