For everyone else, the tldr is that epic offered them an exclusivity deal, dev turned it down and still wanted to have it on steam, GoG and epic, not epic decided not to distribute it on Epic store.

Yep, which tells me that Tim only wants to one up steam or turn Epic into a monopoly himself. He doesn’t care about the consumer at all.

So, there’s rumors going around that we may get a Nintendo Direct next month.
 
It’s been leaked that GameStop has recently updated their internal databases to include a bunch of Switch game listings, possibly hinting that Nintendo is ready to drop a bunch of announcements. Not only that, but there’s also Nintendo of America’s tweet yesterday with an image of Mario eating a watermelon, which some are taking as another sign of a big announcement on the way.

He also said that he created Epic purely to make Steam better and if Steam gets competitive, Epic will stop being competitive.

Here’s a question for you guys talking about the Epic Store vs the Steam Store,  
someone told me once that the reason why some publishers are interested in Epic over Steam  
is that the Epic store is more economical for publishers to jump over to,  
so why is it that so many indie developers are on Steam?

Anyway, I finished Tressa’s second chapter in Octopath Traveler, and since Cyrus’s second chapter is also in Quarrycrest, I started that as well.

Steam has been around much longer and it’s easy to slap a half-assed game on their store, plus people’s general dislike of Epic’s approach. GOG and Nintendo are better stores for indies anyway.

Just a warning, chapter 2 and 3 has a bit of a jump in difficulty that was what caused me to put down the game.

Heal the children, light the beacons? Also, I’ve always found it odd that the party accepts the thief character, who is the least good of the other 7 by a good margin. I headcanon that you’re suppose to start with him and he creates the party by telling them little of his true reasons for his travels.

Yeah.

As much as I bitch about the Classic Fallout games, I do want them remastered at some point so they could be fun to play, has less bugs than a Beth game, look better, fix their mechanics (having to pickpocket to trade with companions is garbage), and restore cut content. They very much need a remaster.

Also, I swear I’m going to be so pissed if Octopath pulls a “The church is actually evil and enforcing a terrible status quo” cliche JRPG plot twist…
