It would be cool if Nintendo re-released more of their old Player’s guides like they did with Earthbound.
I loved their old official Player’s Guides. They’re not like the expensive boring ones nowadays. They were colorful, had fun writing/remarks, gave you more insight on a game, had well done maps, and even rare official character/enemy artwork in them.
Of course, I doubt they could release their Killer Instinct, or Chrono Trigger ones due to licensing/legal issues.

This is some real shady shit going on with this.
But if somebody used their games to make the emulator, shouldn’t that mean they’re free to use it, as somebody basically took their property/games first, (making it more of a grey area issue) or is this one that can be used for any arcade, and is basically them stealing somebody else’s software?
That said, they should’ve hired M2 to help them make their joystick logo game device thing, like Sega is with their upcoming Sega Genesis Mini. (Which unlike the mediocre AtGames devices, has better emulation, AND officially licensed third-party games from Konami & Disney so far) M2 has been really good with ports/remakes.

Yeah, the 1up arcades, and the mini tabletop arcades seem fine.
Some hackers oddly found hidden extra games in those toy Basic Fun arcade games. Like “Joust” actually has “Defender” in it’s data, however they apparently never got to rerelease that one separately, due to losing license for it from Midway/Warner Brothers.
That said, Basic Fun’s recently released Galaga & Dig-Dug games are almost arcade perfect despite how small they are. They’re awesome!
