Yeah, I don’t know about you guys, but I’m getting tired of Color-Coded Armor Guys with Shiny Facemasks Use Jet Boosters and Shoot Each Other with Laser Rifles VIII: The Squeakquel. Enough already with these kinds of games. We get it: You like to frag your friends and then teabag their faces. Some of us want stuff with a little more emotional depth.

I think Hasbro missed out on a massive opportunity by not making a proper MLP:FiM game over the last nine years. Not everyone is into mobile Sim City-style games. I’m certainly not.

I hope Team Cherry prices Silksong higher, Hollow Knight was really cheap considering what the base game alone provides on top of all the free DLC. I feel like they sold themselves short on it, it’s easily worth $30+

But more people will buy it at a lower price, especially since now it has the pedigree advantage of being the same breed as hollow knight.

Yeah, and apparently Wayforward (Contra 4, Shantae, Batman Brave & the Bold Wii, Adventure Time, Ducktales Remastered) wanted to make one, which would’ve been awesome, as they actually make good licensed games.
 
In fact, their “Adventure Time” game was practically a love letter to Zelda 2, as it had similar “overworld map with sidescrolling battles/areas” gameplay. I wonder how a MLP:FiM game would’ve turned out…
 
I always thought a puzzle/action genre game along the lines of the Gameboy Donkey Kong game, (the one with Mario collecting keys) or “Adventures of Lolo,” or something would be great for an MLP game, and would be a good genre that would appeal to both old-school gamer bronies, and young girls who like puzzle games.  
It’d be more fun then a typical sidescrolling title, and it would appeal to both young & old fans.

It’s Activision, the company that created the Rebastard, started the lootbox craze, and fired 8% of their employees while bragging about how much they made that year. If they can find a way to screw over Sekiro and Fromsoft, I have a good feeling they would if they thought it would give them more money.

Lootboxes didn’t become the hot new thing until Overwatch proved that they can be included in $60+ games with no downnside. Outside of their sport games, EA can’t get away with lootboxes while Act has over and over. Act is EA if EA wasn’t so popular to hate and call out.

Actually, overwatch didn’t popularize them, in fact it barely made any money on them. They don’t belong in a $60 game but EA popularized it after they saw how much revenue FIFA ultimate team was generating them.
