German Computer and Video games players are getting older and older. While the average age was 35.7 years last year, it is already 36.1 years this year. Reason is the strong demand from the age group of over 50-year-olds, as the Game Industry Association announced on Wednesday. Within one year, the number of players and players in this age rose by 800,000 to a total of 9.5 million. Over 50-year-olds are now the largest group of players in Germany.

The Long Dark, Rust, 7 days to die, ARK survival. But it depends on “What’s a hunting game?”. Do you search for shooting, survival, simulation…? Real Hunt Simulation: Cabela’s Big Game Hunter Pro Hunts, The Hunter (my personal fav), Bass Pro Shops: The Hunt, Deer Hunt (which doesn’t aged well).

I know about all of those. The Bass Pro Shops one was my favorite but I won’t ever get to play it again any time soon.

Kay. Well, the Long Dark and 7 days to die both have a pretty good Shooting part, but they literally Survial Games, so this doesn’t count. The problem is, right now most publisher used to sell mix-games with the Hunting only being part of the meta. I’m not sure if there is something new out there right now. I haven’t heard anything, sorry. My advice Long Dark/7 days to pass the time until something new comes out. A friend of mine is a hunter/taxidermist. I could ask him, if you want. Maybe he know something I don’t. (^_)

Huh. I just noticed that Silent Hill 3’s Heather has a lot of orange in her clothes. And the game has a bunch of symbolism to the series’ Red God and Yellow God. Neat.

Yep. SH1 was all about black/white, HS2 shades of grey, and SH3 reds and yellows. Also, funny how the blood oozing out of walls texture is better in SH3 than SH:Homecomming.

A continuation of the Bioshock series that takes place after 2 would be fine by me.
 
Oh, and I don’t know if I’m in the minority here, but I have no problem with a sequel to BOTW involving Link and maybe also Zelda going into space in order to directly face a new enemy race that is revealed to be extra-galactic in origin. Yeah, I said it. I don’t have a problem with bringing in extra-galactic beings as main enemies in a future Zelda game.

Yeah, that was a waste of a download. I just deleted the game cause I eventually figured out what I have to do, but the controls were a chore to use. Maybe if I had an XBox/PlayStation controller or even a PC keyboard I’d have better luck, but playing with the JoyCons was a pain in the ass.
