No, the premium campaign gives you locked cosmetic crates or war paint.

I’m glad I don’t play any games that require lootboxes, because they sure sound like complete bullshit.

they can be a thrill if they are handled reasonably, I.E. getting them in game only requires around 1 hour or less of gameplay depending on skill level, and are only cosmetic in PVP games,

It’s only bullshit if they lock stuff that gives you an advantage, and the game costs a lot. TF2 is free, so it can get away with it.

I think it’s annoying how many newer 3DS games are playable only in 2D.

Also TF2 does have weapon crates, but that’s generally for special versions of them, i.e., strange or killstreak. You can just buy the weapons individually. Same with the cosmetics, you can buy them individually, and find special kinds with fancy effects in crates.

They should be in 3D, people that don’t like it can simply turn it off.

And the loot are usually weapons that are rarely straight up “better” than the vanilla gear and (more likely) cosmetics that do nothing other than change your appearance. You can also sell your crates on the Stream market.

I use it all the time and love it. I’m just hoping Nintendo doesn’t remove 3D completely, it would be like having 3DS games not using the bottom screen.

Even when I do use the 3D, I usually only have it turned up about halfway. It’s too blurry when turned up all the way, not to mention the 3D drains the battery quicker (but then again, my 3DS battery’s life has become much shorter over the past couple years anyway).

I don’t use the 3D on my 3DS period.

I never mentioned that I got the orange and yellow shotgun from the last(?) event, and named it Spitfire.

TF servers are still down. Fuck.

EarthBound probably had the best copyright protection of any video game. If you were playing on a pirated cartridge, it would generate much stronger monsters, and if you somehow made it close to the end with those much stronger monsters, it would freeze the game and then delete your save.

What level would be appropriate for the Bitterback Isle?

Spyro 3 comes to mind… Some of the stuff it did was just cruel.

I just played a match of Quake Champions early access. It was glorious, even better than the beta was.
