I remember the first Fable being really hyped up with the “Choose good or evil” thing, only for it to be really disappointing and for the choices to not really matter much…

I can’t wait for Sea of Thieves to flop.  
I don’t understand how anyone had any faith in it considering it’s Microsoft’s Rare.

What was the earliest example of microtransactions in AAA games?
 
The earliest I can think of is Forza Motorsport 5, mostly because of the Forza 5 Classic Game Room review from back in 2014 (“The last time I turned on Gran Turismo 6, it gave me a few new cars. The next time I turn on Forza 5, I expect it to take some cars back and require me to buy them again”), but there’s probably earlier examples than that…

Does TF2 count, or is Steam a non-AAA game, as well as TF2 being free?

Steam isn’t a game, it’s a games client, it sells AAA games. As for TF2, I’d say yes, as Valve is an AAA developer.

I know almost nothing about TF2’s development, so I don’t know if it would count or not. Though I think a game being on Steam doesn’t necessarily mean it’s not AAA.

All of these heavily mutiplayer focused games bum me out. Say what you will about developers like Besthesda, but at least they said they’re committed to making single player games.

I know a lot of people don’t care about this, but Mega Rayquaze and the Mega Mewtwos outclass Arceus in terms of BST. That…is ridiculous imo. Even Ultra Necrozma’s BST is higher, and there was official artwork of it fighting other Legendaries with the TPC asking if it was the strongest Legendary yet.

So yeah i am glad i didn’t even know Dynasty Warriors 9 was coming out till like the day before it’s release so i never got hyped for it, i mean i am the weird mother fucker who prefers the Empires versions and even i think it looks boring,
