Unless you pay extra for them

Remember when you had to enter button combinations? Those were the days.

I remember when games had password-saves. As in it didn’t save your game and you had to input what was basically a cheat code to skip to the current level.

I remember putting codes to get things like big heads and other wacky shit.
 
Now you have to literally buy those kind of features for a game…I’m sad now.

Honestly, if you think this is justified cuz “internet and data minerz”, then you REALLY shouldn’t even be talking about basic game design. Hell, this applies to unlocks in general.

Man, it really sucks the directors of the live action movie had to be such toads and butcher the original script. Right now, people would be saying “No way would this beat the Mario Bros. Movie stating Bob Hopkins”

Zelda 2 corncobbed me pretty hard in the Great Palace  
Was gonna beat my 10 death record. Now it is in doubt, at 9 deaths. And I went in there with 6 continues instead of the usual 3

That’s kind of my problem with it actually.  
Like I know that Doom is a big name and with the success of this one the sequel is all but guaranteed to make some serious bank. But sometimes games don’t NEED a sequel y’know.

Well, the first Doom didn’t need one either but look at what happened. Not only a sequel, but two expansions after that. Besides, it likely won’t get one for a while.

I want to as well. But dammit if the game didn’t leave me wanting more. Even if it delivered in it’s own campaign. Which is definitely longer than most fps campaigns today. CoughCoDcough

Illumination is only handling the actual animation aspect of it (which they’re pretty good at even if their movies aren’t always the best). It’s being written and produced by others.

You know, the more I learn about Activision Blizzard, the more I can believe that they started the loot box craze.

It still started it. It made you by the game, and than gave you boxes for you to try to get better skins, and than released skins you can only get through purchased boxes like the Olympic ones. By the way, how do you get in-game currency to buy golden weapons?

technically valve started the whole crates train back with tf2 and CSGO, but the former is a free game while the latter is about a 1/4 the price of overwatch (and goes as far as cosmetics as far as I know.)
