Could you offer what sort of game Dragon’s Dogma is, does it fall under the RPG, Indie, Adventure, Exploration, and Puzzle genre that I seem to prefer?
How bad is it that the reason I stop playing TF2 is because it stopped working for me? When I try to hook up a match, even in Training I get a message like this from my attempt a few minutes ago: failed to lock index in CMeshDX8::LockIndexBuffer

Well RPG, Adventure, and Exploration work well enough to perk my interest.
Also, while Indie may not exactly be a genre per say, it does tend to have gameplay, artwork, and story that stands out. There is often much to praise, especially when a developer is not held back the rules or structures of major gaming companies and corporations.
I played the first few levels of the original Contra for the NES and damn is it a fun game. Oh, I also played the first level of Contra 3 for SNES. That’s great as well.

Dragon’s dogma is a Action RPG with a very robust character creation and excellent combat that includes epic spells and the ability to climb on larger enemies to reach their weak points, the base game is pretty open though the expansion added by Dark Arisen is basically a giant dungeon crawl meant to be the ultimate test of skill,
