Video Game General 2: Definitive/Remastered Edition

Caved and watched the true final boss of Octopath. And it’s a glorified bonus boss that next to no party member cares about. Not even a credits sequence. So glad I didn’t finish the game now, that’s like swapping out Zeromus for Zeromus EG.

Well, I’m impressed with the new Sonic trailer.

Underwater/Swimming games have never been my thing, but the atmosphere is gorgeous in that game, I’ll probably give it another go when I get bored with my current list of games I’m playing.  
Also I need to keep a watch on the mods for it too, incase anyone comes up with a good mod for it.

It gets better (see:worse): you have to kill eight bosses in a row without saving or dying and then you can fight (see:die and start over because fuck you) the final boss.

Playing it right now and it’s really good. Also everything comes on the cart so no bullshit download codes. And it surprisingly runs at 60fps(don’t know if that’s the case for the PS4 version, someone correct me if I’m wrong)

Yeah. Aside from the Switch, my only real experience of the game was on Vita. I played it once on PS4 and I don’t remember it being very different

So do the environments not feel barebones and empty this time? (Seriously, I don’t care if it started as a Vita game, there was no excuse for that to also be the case in the PS4 version)

Haven’t played the Switch version, so I wouldn’t know.

I dislike stealth sections in games where stealth isn’t the primary purpose. I mean, I’ll still try, but it’s a massive pain in the ass. Which is why am always thankful for games that give you the option to screw being subtle and smash through the way you would any other part of the game.

One of the rare times I liked it was in “Windwaker.” Especially, later on when you come back to that same dungeon again, and now that you have your sword back, you’re free to trash the place, and get revenge on that damn bird.
