Idea to do a little switch up to the starters for a gen, instead of starting out Grass Fire Water, the player the rival and their friend are all given the same type, a Dragon called Pryu, which will become a Dragon/Fire Dragon/Water or a Dragon/Grass depending on which elemental crystal it ate at the start of the game,
 
Pryu+Fire Crystal yields Embryu then Inferyu  
Pryu+Water Crystal gets you Watryu then Toryu  
Pryu+Grass Crystal means Baryu then Foryu

Want more horror in your metroidvania? look up Dementium II.

It will be difficult. Some games run fine on emulators while others are clearly meant to be played on the actual hardware or anything legit like Virtual consoles. Of course, there is also the matter of finding one that hasn’t been shutdown by Nintendo or any other game company.

Want a decent pixelated side scroller with a cute main character? Look up Sinisistar

I’ve tried doing emulators for the DS and 3DS. Some games seemed playable while others were so laggy or barely playable.

I thought you meant Sinistar which was a classic spaceship arcade game by the company William’s (mostly popular for it pinball machines, but also known for its games Robotron and Defender).

And the Saturn is so difficult to emulate because of the unique hardware it had apparently.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night’s been a fun experience so far. Then again, I’ve never played a Castlevania game before, so I’m probably garbage at it.

However, for some reason, prominent Warcraft YouTubers calling the Lich King’s helm “The Helm of Damnation” bothers me.
 
It’s the Helm of “Domination” not Damnation.

Anyway, I wasn’t kidding about Dementium II. If the Shitstorm video of it is any indication, it’s a good horror metroidvania.

I actually have “Snistar” in the compilation game “Midway Arcade Treasures,” (as well as Defender. and Robotron.)  
Williams became Midway, I recall, but they apparently went out of business, and Warner Brothers owns all their games now, including Mortal Kombat, and Rampage.
