I have got a Wave 1 Beast Wars Polar Claw. Lacks his partner accessory (and by extension, a bear foreleg), the biting gimmick is busted and overall, looks so bad, I initially took the toy for a counterfeit.
@mjangelvortex
Polar Claw was quickly overshadowed, because at that very same day, just at the shelf immediately below, there was the Generations Thrilling 30 Voyager-class, Triple Changer, Springer.
So… At some point at the fanfic I’m (supposedly) writing, I’ll have the surviving Decepticons from The Last Knight face an opponent that ridiculously outclasses them, and they’ll be wiped out. Should I let them have some dignity and go down fighting, or exterminate them like roaches during fumigation?
@Darth Prime
Is the new upcoming Siege Springer a triple changer? I’m thinking of picking him up because his robot mode is dead-on for his G1 animated look.
@Terton
I got Shockwave he’s pretty good haven’t transformed him though that’s a nitpick for current TFs I miss when they were packaged in alt-mode being packaged in bot mode doesn’t make me want to transform them.
Hear me out here, We have Glyph show up in a TF series, eventually we reveal she’s working for the decepticons, then come the last episodes we reveal she’s actually a gender bent beast wars megatron when she deposes megs and becomes the new Emperess of Destruction after uploading herself into a newer better body,
@Thanotos Omega
That sounds IDW-Shockwave-has-the-fault-for-everything levels of convoluted. Or IDW Arcee back-story convoluted… Or just 2005 IDW in general….
@Edhelistar
To be clear here i mean she has his characterization and mannerisms, not like she’s a alternate female version of him or something, like she’s legit this universe’s Glyph, but she reveals BW Meg’s personality and talents, and after becoming Gigatron his God complex,
