Yeah, in a fair no-holds fight, Superman would win most of the time. Though in canon, any time Superman and Batman fight, the former always tries to hold back because he’s a sucker like that and is vehemently against killing. Batman however knows he can’t do anything unless he goes all out, so he never holds back.
This is why even though Batman usually wins, the two are always equally injured in the end.
The Strength stat for most RPGs seems to have very limited applications. For most, it seems to be limited solely to attack strength, carrying capacity, and if you’re lucky, athletic ability if it isn’t governed by another stat.

Because two of those things are super important, giving it more creates the same issues that INT has in pre FO4 Fallout games where it’s a god stat that you must invest in to avoid a sub prime build,
