Geez…the amount of shit towards Erod is rather surprising. Like what the hell did the poor dude warrant to get such animosity from the site aside being a big fanboy?
 
Kinda hypocritical for CTC to throw CV out like that, granted CV is still an entitled prick, but the backstabbing is rather shocking.
 
So as usual, Doug is a prick while it seems Linkara is (for the most part) a saint. I know Linkara tends to be a hypocrite and he sure as hell can’t stand up to his shitty friends (Hello Marzgurl), but compare him to Dougie, he at least tries to be a good boss.

Even so, who cares? We all are somewhat hypocritical to some regard. Sometimes you simply contradict yourself, or you change your mind or opinion about something. It’s not like that Linkara is all over the places and contradicts himself constantly, saying something this week, and next week the opposite.

Hypocrisy aside, Lewis himself is still a decent person. Compared to EVERYONE ELSE in CA, he’s at least the one who cares.

Even if it wasn’t 2012 when they did the CTC stuff, it still would’ve had more impact closer to when all the bad stuff allegedly happened than now. Let’s say it happened in 2014, after Lupa and Phelous and JewWario, it would’ve had a much greater impact on CA than in 2018 when it was widely acknowledged across the internet that CA was past its prime.
 
Anyway, Linkara mentions how there isn’t any posters of the pre-revival anniversary movies on the walls of their studio, only post-revival posters. You guys think that for whatever “The Nostalgia Critic” is now, what’s left of CA is trying to distance themselves from former contributors to the point of nigh canon-discontinuity? Instead of treating it as a part of CA and internet history, they treat the pre-revival stuff as if it was owned by a different company.

Well, it is a bit understandable that they want to forget the whole ordeal too. I mean most people don’t want to have pictures of their ex girl-/boyfriends on the wall after they ended it.

Not only is it a terrible “review”, aka another boring clipless skit, but it as usual misses the point, disregards any research, and lack of attention went in it.
 
A lot of people however are pissed at him shitting on the themes of the film, and by an extent, the album (since it’s basically an adaption/music video of the album), which have themes of war, alienation and fears of insanity all brought on by the band’s leader at the time caused by his own hatred of war due to his father going KIA in WWII, his detachment to how his fanbase looked at him as a god of music, and the fears of going insane like former Pink Floyd member Syd Barrett, who went insane due to the music industry, drug usage, and his own development of schizophrenia.
 
And Doug ALL makes fun of that.

At least with my review of The Wall: Live in Berlin, I mocked the execution of the (let’s be honest, hit-and-miss) live performance, not the overall themes of the album. And at least my video could be called an actual review.
