That’s a whole lot of content for one man to work on all at once.

And I see MisAnthroPony released his new rant video on NC’s Sailor Moon video. First few minutes in and it’s filled with bringing up #ChangeTheChannel when it has nothing to do with the quality of the review.
 
Already have no confidence in this video. Not a good sign.

I agree that his ChangeTheChannel video is pretty good, but it’s pretty sad when fucking Kiwi Farms is really the only major place for level-headed discussions about the downfall of TGWTG takes place. Hell, a lot of the people there share my contention that a major contributing factor of the downfall was the whole angry (wo)man with camera riffing media schtick getting pretty old by 2012.
 
Marzgurl has got a thread on there now, but that has more to do with the Weeb Wars shit than anything in this thread.

Marzgurl if I remember had her thread start after the infamous Kick Vic movement.

I’ve heard about that. And it is interesting to see that Vic is choosing to fight back these allegations by taking Funimation, and the two voice actresses that spreaded these allegations to court. It’ll be interesting to see what the final verdict will be, as it might shine a light into whether these allegations are true or not in the court of law.

Though reminding about the allegations against Vic, it does make me wonder if the allegations made in the ‘Not So Awesome’ document were true, why didn’t the victims choose to sue the higher ups of Channel Awesome for the misconduct?

Misanthropony’s NC videos would be so much better if he just stuck to talking about Doug Walker’s criticisms instead of bashing his fan base and bring up Change the Channel. The Jungle Book NC video is an example of this even though it came out before CTC.
 
Also I saw I tweet where he mocked Doug for using the “X is Terrible, Here’s why” title when he did the same thing for his Cuphead review.

As I’ve said before, MAP REALLY just being biased since he himself said in his review of Doug’s video on Norm of the North that he never was a big fan of Doug’s reviews or content or fanbase. And yet here he is, repeating and whining about Doug Walker nearly every fucking day, insulting their fanbase (when some of their fanbase could be using the “separate the art from the artist” argument) and being a completely obnoxious person about it. Like I really want someone to kick him off his high horse (no pun intended) and make him STOP complaining about Doug over EVERY LITTLE THING. Doug could literally surprise people by doing a newer-like style of reviewing (what current film reviewers do now with actual criticism and comedy) and MAP would still somehow rant about Doug and the fanbase.
 
Also, MAP shouldn’t even try with bitching about Doug using the “X IS TERRIBLE AND HERE’S WHY” crap when he did 1-2 hour rant videos about how Star Wars is dying because he’s one of the many idiots who LOVE repeatedly bitching about TLJ being the bane of their existence.

I also do recall MAP complaining about Doug padding out his openings even though not as bad it’s still felt like he was padding out his openings.between ranting about something that doesn’t affect the quality of the episode like the previews getting ready ending or to Christmas episode not being on Christmas.And of course the Constant explore Equestria rants as he was one of those people who thought of that theme of season 6 was explore Equestria despite never being advertised as such

Not to get too off topic, but that whole thing is coming off as such a mess. On one hand, I’ve heard accusations from people.  
I’ve known long before the whole movement. On the other hand, one of the two main accusers has been outed more and more as someone who’s as an awful, toxic human being, so it’s not like what she says is entirely trustworthy.

That’s why I’m looking forward to hearing new developments in the lawsuit to see if in the court of law, these allegations can be proven or dismissed.

I also remember in map review of the cutie remark he complained about how the remane 5 still had the same cutie marks. And when I called him out on it he said that they’re supposed to represent their talents and place in life why would that change because I didn’t get their cutie marks in one point in time?

Oh sure, he could have made good point, but it’s overshadowed by his annoying hate boner of the movie to the point where he was all for the incredibly stupid movement of remaking the movie all because people hated it. Carrie Fisher would be ashamed by people like him.
