Rey is as powerful as Anakin. But that’s not a good thing, people hated how good he was without any real training, without having “earned” it the way Luke did. Rey is like a female Anakin. All that power and right from the start without even the benefit of a force ghost you could point to helping you make a difficult shot in a cockpit, which isn’t the same as doing a Jedi mind trick move that only a seasoned expert should be able to of “making you do what I want via momentary brainwashing”..

So why do you hate Gallade so much?

Gallade is one of the laziest ideas in the world.

Gardevoir is already based off a combination of Knight and Dancer. And the combination of heavy focus on psychic powers and a robe always gave the impression to me of being a magic-wielding knight. A Spellsword or a Jedi. It’s unique and interesting.

And here comes this completely conventional sword-swinger which, to add insult to injury, is male only for no reason I can think of. Even real knights weren’t strictly male. It’s a painfully predictable, arbitrarily limited split evolution that doesn’t add anything worth adding to the Ralts line.

Gallade has always been and will always be unnecessary Pokedex filler pandering to Gardevoir’s explosive fandom. Every list of the “laziest” Pokemon concepts fails utterly if it does not include Gallade.
