OOC, what about Josh’s actions are unchristian specifically?
The unkindness, the unfairness, the manipulativeness, etc. Christianity means doing your best to be a good person; ergo, being shitty (and making excuses for it instead of trying to improve) equals not being Christian.

Thats not what I was asking though. What about him is manipulative? What action does he need to take to /be/ christian? I get that you don’t like him, that a lot of people don’t like him on the grounds that he shouldn’t be posting videos, that he shouldnt be withholding a confession while he’s in the process of filing reports, I know all of these are reasons why his beliefs don’t line up with yours. I just want to know what makes Josh as awful as everyone says specifically.

He’s manipulating Xain by twisting words and using false arguments to avoid blame. He’s still keeping up all those videos despite the fact that they do harm to the victims, and this is how he responds to criticism to take them down. He is still associating with a known pedophile, despite saying otherwise, and is not taking the steps he needs to do otherwise.
Not to mention everything else he’s done. Accusing Lily of being abusive because she disagreed with the beliefs that dehumanized her and others. Putting up that awful response video knowing that his audience would respond by sending her death threats (his fourth video of the sort, and the second directed at Lily. There is a known precedent for this), and keeping it uploaded despite the fact that both Xain and Alex Rochon have since regretted appearing in it and have asked Josh to take it down. Not taking Xain’s severe anxieties over the 2016 election seriously, to the point where Lily and I invited him into her Discord server, and he quickly found more friendship and support with us than he’d ever had with Josh.
Josh’s behaviour is awful, and he is extremely bad at taking responsibility for it and improving. He himself admits to being “bad at tact,” and here he is doing it again.

Josh is not, to my knowledge, receiving threats of death, rape, B&E or stalking. Lily was.

He is receiving CRITICISM, because he did something wrong. And you equating that to the above is also wrong.

Lily does know her audience, and those who do cross the line will be dealt with. We once had someone in her Discord server try to commission me drawing them murdering Josh. I told Lily, and she immediately told them off and permanently banned them from the server. Everyone, including Xain, who was still friends with Josh at the time, was furious with them when they found out.

yes how dare people care for your well being and you are one to talk when you are ignoring the pain Josh, Blake,
and Brittney went through. It doesn’t matter if Josh isn’t getting threats of death, rape, B&E or stalking.
ganging up on someone who is a victim is still wrong and yes despite what Patch thinks Toon’s ex-friends and ex-
co-workers are indeed victims.
