Comments on Slurred Speech: "I used to have so much respect for you! You've disappointed me!" What They're Really Saying: "I never thought Lily would drag ME for MY stupidity!"
Some Fun Hating Asshole: "Ugh! Why does the fact that Ascentia's gay have to be so in your face?" Me: "It's not her fault all the girls are so pretty."

Hello there Lizzy. Apologies if this is coming at a bad time, but my intent is to talk to Lily and maybe send some goodwill her way. I realize that this might be annoying trying to talk to her through you, and I apologize for that. What I want to do is send you and Lily my support about what happened to her in October. I was hoping to send a comforting message to help her, but her asks are not on, so you were the next best way to reach her. (1/2)
witchylizzy97 answered:Lily’s asks are off for a reason. She gets a LOT of asks like this, and none of them are as helpful as you think they are. I know you guys just want to help, but what’s you’re actually doing is A) triggering her to hell and back and B) making this whole thing about you.If Lily wants to talk about what happened, then she will say so. The decision will come from her, not because someone invited themselves into a difficult and upsetting conversation to talk about themselves. And if and when she does want to talk, odds are she will go to myself or one of our friends, not a stranger. And I have stated multiple times - and even put it in the FAQ - not to use me as a vector to get through Lily. I am not just her wife, and if she doesn’t want your asks, then just respect that and leave her alone.

What’s your opinion on the Bayonetta video game series? Personally, I find it very empowering seeing a woman being sexual for herself. How about you? and take no offense to this. I heard about what happened to Lily and this question brings up something please feel free to to ignore it. Don’t wanna bring up any bad memories or anxiety for you or Lily. Love you both :)
She’s not being sexual for herself. She’s a character in a video game, a piece of media created for a specific audience to enjoy. Her body, poses, camera angles and her weird hair-clothes coming off are all carefully designed for the player’s visual appeal.Claiming that Bayonetta’s sexuality is for herself is like the claim that Quiet’s sexualized design is because she breathes through her skin (???): it’s a very thin excuse for the developers to get away with it. And I would argue that Bayonetta is an even worse example of this, because it frames blatant objectification of women as some kind of empowerment.
