What the hell is the endgame of communism?
 
The USSR crashed and burned, Venezuela is anything but on track, Cuba and Vietnam pretty much just exist, and North Korea is blatant Imperial Japan with a communist skin.

Communism has been massively weakened after the Eastern Europe revolutions of 1989 and the collapse of the USSR, Sadly, It isn’t dead with countries like China, North Korea, Vietnam, and Cuba still having it. Plus dictatorships like Venezuela is a de-facto Communist state.

None of those places are communist, they just pretend to be in order to keep the people at the top, at the top. Same as how the US pretends to be a meritocracy and land of opportunity.

The ESRB kept violent games from being banned outright, and was a major pusher to get games labeled as protected during the supreme court case.

Honestly, I’m sick of lobby groups, curtailing the law to favor them and their cronyist partners at the expense of everyone else.

The endgame is abolishing social classes and the common ownership of the means of production and that everyone has access to a basic standard of living.  
And most of those nations have always been State Capitalist.

Venezuela is a Social Democracy where in 2014 the public sector share of employment was 29.0%. And the crisis in Venezuela has far more to do with the government investing too much in the oil industry. Think about that next time before you copy paste that “venezuela.txt” you’ve been keeping in your “internet argument” folder.

The only complaints you could levee against them is already inherent in everything: that private movie companies may or may not be paying the MPAA to nudge a moving rating down a bit if it’s just over the threshold of something more serious.

To be honest Venezuela has long invested heavily in oil in before the Bolivarian Revolution. With the discovery of oil as an important industrial product and the modern economy many of the plantation aristocracy that otherwise ran the economy all shifted towards oil as the more profitable scheme. It’s been that way for pretty much since then.
 
And those same people also ran the country, with most likely American support through the CIA.
