Well then what do you think it would be a better system? Socialism didn’t work.
And yet it was “Socialist” programs like the New Deal and Minimum Wage that not only dragged America out of the Great Depression but sent us into a decades long “Golden Age of Economic Prosperity”. A period that only ended when Reagan began cutting those same programs and benefits and introduced the concept of Trickle Down Economics.
A system that lead us into the Great Recession and our current economic turmoil.

Plus, while rich people get a lot of pay, they’re also often the ones that usually gained their job from the ground like everybody else or were the fouders that had to make a lot of invertion to make it work in a high risk high reward situation. If you don’t compete, then you can’t get the huge pays for yourself.
Over 40% of all wealth in this country is inherited. And the majority of that isn’t from a McDonald cashier leaving junior some money on his deathbed.
Even then Reps are in a sweaty tryhard desperation to get rid of the Estate Tax - a law that only affects at most around 18,000 of the richest people in the country. All the Estate Tax does is exactly what it says: if your property is worth a certain amount (an amount that, again, only effects 18,000~ people) then it’s taxed upon shifting ownership to your children.
This is a game of Monopoly that has been going on for over 200 years. The winners have already been established and there’s a reason why 80% of the national wealth is hoarded by 1% of the population.

Well, yeah indeed. Of course, that is if you invert it instead of making an ass of yourself, though some guys like Trump just can seems to run out of money, on the other hand Trump is more of an enemy of free market who wants to apply his “American first” motto.
Trump is a walking example of many reasons why our economic (and political and sociological and-) system is a failure. A man born into so much wealth that decades of astounding stupidity and incompetence that he can still be a billionaire Maybe. There’s a reason he fights tooth and nail to keep his tax returns a secret. despite breaking records for amount of money he loses.
“Free Market” says that Trump should’ve been one of the over half a million homeless population years ago. But he’s not. Relatedly, about 40% of the homeless population has a job. But they can’t afford a house anyway. Because “Free Market” or “Bootstraps” or something.
