Because regular Republicans aren’t corrupt enough for him. Drink that in. Washington politicians aren’t corrupt enough for the President of the United States. This is why he likes autocrats and dictators; they’re corrupt A.F. and bribe him accordingly.

I’m not betting anything. I think it could go either way. As for my I’m voting Bernie since he announced his campaign. He represents what liberalism should be. Somewhat conservative gun views, wants to close tax loop holes instead of raise them on the rich, supports stronger border security, and wants a better healthcare system. In my opinion, he’s a damn sight better than Trump. Trump isn’t bad or offensive but he’s far from a good candidate.

Bernie Sanders calls Trump ‘most racist, sexist, homophobic, bigoted president in history’

You’re right, he’s exactly what liberalism is: constantly accusing others of bigotry, and promising their constituency free shit to buy votes.

Why ‘Democratic’ Socialism Doesn’t Work

Protesters drove Bernie Sanders from one Seattle stage. At his next stop, 15,000 people showed.

If you want a better healthcare system you need only look at what other successful industries are doing and try to emulate that; and I’m going to give you my favorite example: smartphones.

Smartphones are a product, just like healthcare. If you want a good product you have to PAY. Healthcare is not free and just like any other product you are not entitled to it. You are no more entitled to healthcare than you are a smartphone. And if you want that product to be superior, for your money, you need as little regulation and as much competition as possible; this is why our healthcare system is such a failure and smartphones are such a success.

Then Bernie Sanders is an extremest because I just described exactly what he does.
We need universal healthcare, not privatized, every other country has a single payer or universal of some sort and they all work way better.

America is not ‘every other country’, first of all, second; every countries’ system of healthcare is different. Canada has privatized healthcare, and it’s way better than their utterly failed socialized system.

US vs Canadian Healthcare: What Are the Differences?

There are pros and cons for single payer health care. The Canadian system doesn’t cover everything, and private insurance is often used to supplement coverage. There can also be copays for medical necessities like prescriptions. Then, of course, there are Canadian healthcare wait times, which many Americans would consider unreasonable.
These wait times stem from many things, but currently, there’s about one primary care physician per 1000 people, and the rate of available specialists is similar. Patients are guaranteed reasonable wait times for urgent needs, but can expect to wait longer to see a specialist or have an elective procedure done. Generally, all efforts are made to streamline appointments for life-threatening issues but there can still be some wait time involved.
From the time it takes to receive a referral by a GP – to receiving treatment – Canadians wait an average of 21.2 weeks to receive treatment from a specialist. MRI procedures could take up to 10.8 weeks. Some argue that the wait times are far too long.

I don’t think you actually understand how the healthcare system works.

Regulation isn’t harming the US Healthcare system, because for the most part it has very little regulation compared to the rest of the world.

That’s what insurance is for. Work for an employer that provides health benefits. Problem solved. And if that’s too much for you there’s always our own shitty socialized healthcare programs called medicare and medicaid. Nobody gets bankrupt from a broken leg, that’s an outright lie.

Yeah, and it sucks. Which is why you often have to supplement your coverage with private insurance. Canada has both privatized AND public healthcare, I didn’t say that they had exclusively private healthcare.

We do. But it could be better.

Obamacare, for example, sucks because some companies can’t afford to provide health insurance to their workers. Instead of forcing companies to provide healthcare, let them offer it as an incentive for working there.

Right off the bat and you’re resorting to ‘pull yourself up by the bootstraps’?

Actually medicare and Medicaid consistently ranks amongst the highest in favorability and service quality of all of America’s health insurances.

That’s because it’s free.

Oh gosh getting a job is so hard woe is me.

Give me a fucking break. The job I do requires NO QUALIFICATIONS, and they offer me health insurance. You have absolutely no excuses why you can’t work. If I can do it, anyone can. I am not that smart.

What more do you people want? You have government subsidized healthcare and you have health insurance provided by your employer, what is everyone complaining about?

Bet you they won’t.
He’ll definitely lose the popular vote. He couldn’t even win it the first time around, when people thought there was still a slight chance he wouldn’t prove to be an unhinged loon.

Unfortunately the electoral college is still terrible, so we’ll have to see what happens.

Trump isn’t bad or offensive
Yes he is. Heck, sometimes he’s both those things simultaneously. And frankly if he hasn’t yet clinched the position of the absolute worst president in American history, he’s definitely a contender for the second or third slot no question.

There’s nothing wrong with the electoral college. The system is working as intended, America was never intended to be a pure Democracy; because pure Democracy is tyranny of the majority.

Record low employment and economic growth. Seems like he’s doing just fine. He said he was gonna build a wall, that’s what he’s been working on. He’s also followed through on his promise to slash regulations.
