To be devil’s advocate, the margin is so slim I wouldn’t expect this to be a pattern. At roughly 20,000 votes ahead of Moore - .5% - it’s not a resounding signal of permanent change, but it at least shuts out a particularly awful person.
 
Or at least, not until the military votes come in according to one person I talked to.

Based on the results, Jones’ key to victory came in three parts:
 
*Incredibly high turnout in the democratic strongholds of the state which includes Jefferson county ( home to the the state’s largest city, Birmingham) Montgomery county ( home to the state capital and second-largest city), as well as the counties in the black belt region ( as the name implies, juat about all of them have majority-black populations which tend to almost always vote Democrat).
 
*Severely reduced turnout for Republicans all across the state, very likely attributed to the allegations against Moore convincing many to just stay home.
 
*Jones greatly improving on the vote margins Hillary received last year across the state to the point where he flipped many highly populated counties that Trump won such as Madison, Mobile, Tuscaloosa, and Talladega. In fact I don’t think there was a single county where Moore got a larger amount or percentage of votes than Trump did.
 
What I’m curious to know is how many votes for Jones were from Republicans who crossed party lines.
 
Now that this is over I’m sure there’s going to be talk of repelling that law that prevents candidates from being replaced on the ballot within a certain amout of time before the election.

So, a lot of people think when Net Neutrality is once repealed, everyone thinks it will be the end of internet as we know it, but isn’t this a bit of an exaggeration?

Forallot of poorer people an extra 10-20$ could mandate they give up their internet, and the fears of smaller websites going under because they can’t afford to pay ISPs to have full speed ect,

@Thanotos Omega Pretty sure I remember him backing Mo Brooks…Then Luther Strange… and then whoever this fagmo bible thumper was.  
There was quite a lot of national interference in that election, strangely NOT from the opposition party.

When it happens remember who screwed us over. Trump appointed Ajit Pai. The expected vote is to be down party lines. We will lose because there are too many Republicans.
