I worked out that it’s supposed to mean that “straight black men have the same relative level of privilege among the black community (as opposed to black women or LGBTQ+ black people, I guess) as white people do among society as a whole”, but regardless of its truth, there’s definitely something wrong with the phrasing employed there.

The article comes from “The Root”; confusing and ill-defined is their forte. Their entire catalogue is nothing but racialising every single thing under the sun with excessive white bashing.
 
The article is nothing out of the ordinary. It’s a rag site out for attention, nothing too complicated to get worked up about.

Mostly because of the uncertainty of information in reporting. You can’t make certain claims without certain knowledge and since many news outlets outsource their news stories, they can’t verify the knowledge all that well.
 
There’s also the ever present danger of a libel law suit if you make any out of the ordinary claim later proven false.

It’s the logic of kyriarchy taken to its logical conclusion. Errybody’s oppressin’ errybody out there. Maybe there’s some trans black Jewish Muslim (don’t ask me how that works) who’s at the bottom of the org chart, but even xe’s probably kicking a puppy or something. That’s why it’s a mistake to focus on any single class of oppressors or oppressees. We’re all in this together. They’ve been promising to repeal Obamacare since before it was law. If they can’t get it done now, with both houses and the White House, they will not have jobs in 2019. They’ve kinda painted themselves into a corner here.

ACA has its flaws, but for now it’s all we got. The ACA is like putting gauze on a gunshot wound, you may have stopped the bleeding but the bullet is still inside the body. The Republicans want to replace the gauze with a My Little Pony band aid

Many of us - such as myself - are poor enough that the medicade expansion under the ACA. And the waving of pre-existing conditions means that people who couldn’t get the medical assistance needed can get it; like people with diabetes and otherwise couldn’t be insured.
 
It isn’t of course perfect, but it’s caught between total repeal and attempts to fully reform and improve it by the more progressive arm of the party (ex. Bernie’s push for Medicade/care for all)

Why does no one ever point out how anti-fun the right actually are a lot of the times? Everyone likes to rant and rave about feminists being anti-fun and I’ll admit some of them are, but I see more anti-fun people on the right with all there ranting and raving about how Hollywood is trying to brainwash your children with progressivism and all that shit. Stefan Molyneux even made a video recently about how It is actually anti-white propaganda, Jesus Christ.

Because of the professionalism behind YouTube videos. What I do notice is that the right tend to sound professional sometimes (except for most as is with everything) and makes people trust their word more. They can be wrong as fuck, but the correct tone and vocabulary can carry you extremely far.
