I may be a bit late but I will say this. Lee wasn’t evil, that being said I don’t think he should be celebrated. He’s a tragic figure, a man who had to choose to either fight his own state or betray his country. Lee joined the CSA because he didn’t want to fight people from his home, not for any notions of white supremacy. As for the statue itself? Well, it’s up to the people of the city if they want it to be removed or not.

Let me put this as bluntly as I can for you. People don’t like being castigated and alienated for their beliefs and race. Being called deplorables by CLINTON was a considerably bad decision for her to make. It effectively alienated any chance of swaying people that she could have gotten by trying to show what she was going to do once in office and convince them that Trump was the wrong choice. Instead she insulted them. I am not a victim but I understand how people operate when they are castigated and demeaned enough to go against what you want just to spite you.

Clinton made a lot of bad decisions during the whole election. Remember she didn’t go out to the michigan or any one of those rust belt states. It was mostly Trump that visited those states.
