And once this state is reached and profits are derrived from cutting back on the employees then it’s entirely reasonable that this legally sanctioned and cop defended violence needs to be responded to. And without the union to act through what is left for the rest of us but the bullet and the bomb. And as we keep going down the route you want, every dead manager is a small cathartic victory in this proto-revolution.
So you can make like the Revolutionary nobility of the French Revolutionary and recognize when the Fall of Rome moment is coming, or you can help propel American society back into barbaric slavery or the inevitable implosion it’s primed.

Incidents of pancreatic cancer are also much more common in those who have lived relatively unhealthy (especially dietary) lives. So, that inflates the mortality rates.
I should also add that her last bout with pancreatic cancer was in 2009. So, she’s already smashed the survival rate.

Cancer is hella expensive to treat; not just the treatments themselves, but the loss of work due chemo/radiation treatments. Also expensive to diagnose, in a lot of cases, so poor people only get themselves checked once it’s far too late.

The richer you are, the better your health outcomes in all aspects of life. But especially so with cancer. The more affordable, more accessible treatments usually have more, or worse, side effects. And too often, like others have said, if you’re not rich and privileged, you get severely reduced treatment and after care.

I have an uncle who has a type of leukemia. The major reason he’s survived for so long is because he’s Canadian and therefore is able to get affordable treatments.
Had he chosen to continue living in America like my dad, he would’ve been dead by now.

I’m disappointed that there doesn’t seem to be a card that’s just an all caps “VENEZUELA!” It’s sad sight when someone can’t bother to even quarter-ass their maymays.

From the tagline “Winning is for capitalists” we can see right away that this game is not going to be friendly to whatever it deems “socialism” to be.Because as we all know “socialists” never play sports or participate in any sort of competitive activity, like board games. 2/
Spaces on the board include a snarkily named hospital and school, because apparently schools are supposed to produce losers and hospitals are only supposed to help some of the people. 5/
There are also tons of references to health food and veganism, despite the lack of any clear connection to socialism, apparently because what they share in common is that they are odious things that are fun to mock. 6/
It’s also crucial to mock environmentalism because, haha, as we all know environmentalism is stupid and hilarious. 7/
Voting is also mocked. Maybe because voting creates market uncertainty for big banks and monopoly capitalists from whose perspective this game was apparently designed? Voting is portrayed as serving mainly to “shake things up” and something socialists are “constantly” doing. 16/

Hasbro releases tonnes of these sort of x-themed Monopoly games. They’re meant to be eye-rollingly “ugh”, their purpose is to be a one-time novelty party game for drunk 20-30 somethings that enjoy board nights or home “parties”.
Not surprised someone would only notice and get offended when it mocks “their thing”. Kinda sad they can’t see the jokes that hit for both sides, really…
