The traditional ways to crawl out of a recession or economic downturn are three fold.
 
Cut interest rates.  
General stimulus spending.  
Cut taxes.
 
Things you dont do when the economy is healthy are.  
Cut interest rates.  
General stimulus spending.  
And cutting taxes.
 
Because when growth slows, you lose these tools when it comes to fighting back against a recession.
 
You can’t lower the interest rates when they’re already so low.  
You can’t spend when the deficit is over a trillion and the debt is in the 20 trillion range.  
And you can’t slash taxes when they’re already so low that government revenue is tanking.

Apparently good old Greg Abbott sent out some sort of Anti-Immigrant Fundraiser Letter which called on Republicans to “DEFEND TEXAS, the day before the shooting.
 
The language in that document had some strikingly similar Vocabulary to the Shooter’s Manifesto.
 
Abbott is also the same person who blamed ANTIFA for the massacre as well.

In all fairness, I know that ANTIFA isn’t a 100% well meaning vigilante group.
 
They probably deserve the blame for Dayton as much as White Nationalists deserve the blame for El Paso.

His politics and his victims are incongruous with each other. A better match is because he’s an incel and a transphobe. The left wing is consistently anti-transphobia and anti-misogyny and anti-killing-people-in-general.  
Sorry, the actual evidence suggests this wasn’t a politically motivated shooting. The shooter did not post or write a manifesto explaining why he decided to shoot up a bar, he targeted personal relations, and unless the bar itself was a politically aligned place, something we would absolutely have heard of by now, it also doesn’t make sense as a target for a politically motivated shooting. Much like Laughner in Arizona, the shooter’s politics here are, by all appearances, incidental to the decision to murder people.

In this case Commune is correct, as there is no correlation between his victims and his political views, unlike the El Paso shooter, Tarrant, and that guy in Norway who got BTFO’d. It would be interesting to see the reaction if he gun down a lot of far-right/white supremacists, if only to see the media and the progressives hum and har about whether what he did was right.

The bar supported police by having thin blue line flags in it, which he didn’t support. It was a bar typically conservative people attended. Though it wasn’t limited to them.
 
The thing is, Connor and other antifa see normal, peaceful, everyday conservatives as “white supremacists” which such use of a phrase has no meaning anymore.
 
Also, the media would definitely report that “white nationalists” were killed. But it wouldn’t drag on for weeks. They don’t even report on ICE facilities being shot up.
